Our Core are: Audiometry Booths and Sound Treated Rooms - See Our Work
Orion Acoustic Solutions has several years of experience in the design and installation of Audiometric Booths and Sound Treated Rooms intended for applications in industry and ENT centers. We design, manufacture, and install a wide range of high performance Audiometric Booths that offer significant Insertion Noise Levels of around 25dB. Our diagnostic testing booths and rooms are specifically engineered for the assessment needs of audiologists, doctors, researchers, and hearing aid specialists.
At the very outset, it is important to keep in mind where the booth is to be positioned. Select an area in your premises / facility that is away from interfering noise sources such as running water faucets, loud footsteps, continuous talking such as in corridors, manual typewriters, motors, road & traffic noise, as these sources will tend to distort actual readings taken inside the booth.
Irrespective of whether your requirements are for a single Audiometric Booth or a full-fledged Room Test Facility, we have the resource and experience to provide you with economically priced and engineered solutions, backed with comprehensive service product support. Orion Acoustics offer many standard booths, ranging from different sizes and configurations that can accommodate the latest audiometers.
We manufacture audiometric test booths using modular panels, with proven field-tested components – including wall and roof panels, structurally isolated floors, doors, windows and quiet ventilation systems. The modular approach is a unique high performance building system that offers many key advantages over traditional sound insulating materials. From a technical viewpoint, the walls and ceilings of both booth and room design employ a tongue and groove panel incorporating galvanized steel outer skin perforated to an extent of 25% to optimally achieve the right sound attenuation. Acoustic absorption material coupled with an additional air gap are provided to attenuate low frequency transmission noise.

Doors are similar in construction to the wall panels and are designed to achieve the same levels of acoustic performance. Sturdy hinges and door pulls facilitate easy entry and exit. Windows are typically double glazed, and provide a clear unobstructed view between patient and audiologist.
The booths we supply are pre-assembled, finish painted and ready for use. Optional features of our modular constructed booth are:
- Acoustic double glazed vision panel within door
- Fabric covering to internal walls
- Special jack panels, cut-outs and plugs to suit different audiometers
- Alternative paint finishes to suit customer requirements
- Silent ventilation depending on site specific needs.
- Castor wheels to facilitate easy movement of the booth.
- Recessed low noise lighting and concealed electrical wiring and receptacles
